These weird "Missing Granny" boxes are around my companions, what are these!? What do they do
The title missing granny probably is just a funny name they've given to an object ID, an ID associated with an incomplete/missing parameter. The green hexagon texture would most likely be their default image provided by the game engine, this would be to take the place of the intended texture due to it not being there.

"Missing Granny" on objects
A "Granny" is a model in the HeroEngine (see: http://wiki.heroengine.com/index.php?title=Granny&redirect=no ). This likely means you need to run a repair since some of the client assets have likely gotten corrupted during the patch. DalrisThane Members 423 Posted October 21, 2015 Oh. I searched Google and found several threads about this issue and tried all the fixes from making sure that the SWTOR.exe and Launcher.exe are added to my firewall and antivirus programs as safe.
